The car started as a stock 1986 944 turbo. The interior has been completely gutted and a custom 8 point roll cage installed by Lemco motor sports. The suspension are Moton triple adjustable struts and shocks with extremely high spring rates. Front brakes are Porchse 4 piston big red calipers with custom full floating 2 piece rotors. Rear brakes are stock units. All suspension pick up points utilize mono ball bearing cartridges, there is no rubber left in any of the suspension.

The engine comes from a Porchse 944 s2, it has been sleeved using Darton nodular sleeves and the main bearing cradle has been modified for superior strength. The stock crank Shaft has been lightened, knife edged, balanced, and perpendicular drilled. It uses Pauter connecting rods and custom JE pistons that give static compression ratio of 9:1. The stock S2 16V cylinder head has been ported and uses stock cam shafts with racing springs and custom retainers.

The engine uses Autronic fully programmable engine management. It has a Garrett TO4E Turbo charger, custom made intake manifold, inner cooler setup, and full 3 inch exhaust with no muffler.

A 6 speed trans axle from a 968 sends the power to the ground.

Chassis Dyno results in 426 horsepower to the rear wheels at 14psi boost.

Phil will be racing in the GTS5 class with National Auto Sports Association (Texas Region).
